Making Memories

Sharing A Memory

Great memories, our lives are filled with them. There are endless memories that we look back on, they’re what make our lives worth living. From the first day of school, when you were so nervous; your first speeding ticket; your first job; additions to the family whether, they be furry or not — these are all memories that you will never forget.

Now you’re a big kid, always juggling so many to-do lists and appointments that you have to write in your planner the next time you have a double date. From where do so many memories originate? Where do they start? Your planner. Plans for Dinner

What’s coming up this week? Happy hour plans? Dinner outing with a friend? You never know which plans you’ll remember forever but once they happen, you know. When you have a friend over just to catch up, and suddenly you are both laughing hysterically from sharing stories. It’s a time like that you’ll treasure and the memory all began with “Sarah over for dinner” in your planner.

Your AT-A-GLANCE® is a place to plan your future memories and a place to look back and reminisce about the old ones. You can flip back in your planner to a few months ago and see “Work Outing.” Little did you know, that would be the night when your boss first told you that you received the promotion you’ve been working so hard to get. Or you can flip back to the “Conference” you had early in the year where you met someone that would later become your fiancé.

You never know where your plans are going to take you, or what memories they will hold, but they all started somewhere and that place is your AT-A-GLANCE. Your AT-A-GLANCE is like your own personal memoir holding all your memories from each day in the year. It’s a place where every day and every moment is yours.

Commit Yourself to Success: Use Your Planner Every Day

Success is a Journey

You’ve purchased your planner, set it up and studied its features and benefits. Now it’s time to begin your daily planning process.

Keep it with you
The best way to begin using your planner everyday is to simply just begin. A great tip for starting out is to carry your planner everywhere: to meetings, to the grocery store and even to the coffee table as you watch evening TV. By simply making your planner omnipresent you will find yourself more frequently using it in different facets of your life.

Create a routine
To begin your planning process, it’s a good idea to create a cheat-sheet that offers quick reminders. It might include action items such as list appointments, list daily tasks, review yesterday’s notes and so on. At first, follow the blueprint for your schedule to a tee. In time, you will learn areas where you can be more flexible. Be sure to include time for planning throughout your day. Continue reading Commit Yourself to Success: Use Your Planner Every Day
